General Pediatric Surgery
Expert care for infants, children, and adolescents in Bahrain
At our clinic, we provide specialized surgical care for a wide range of common and complex pediatric conditions. Every child is assessed with a thorough examination, and treatment plans are tailored to ensure safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.
Inguinal Hernia
A buldge in the groin caused by an opening in the abdominal wall. In children, surgery is needed to prevent complications such as hernia incarceration and bowel obstruction.
Umbilical Hernia
A soft swelling at the belly button caused by a small opening in the abdominal wall. Many close on their own, but surgery may be needed if it persists beyond 3 years of age.
Abdominal pain
We evaluate and manage urgent causes of abdominal pain in children, from appendicitis to gallstones, ensuring timely treatment to prevent complications.
Lumps and cysts
Surgical excision of all types of lumps and bumps in children, including skin lesions, soft tissue masses, and cysts using advanced techniques to ensure safety and minimal scarring.
Labial Adhesions
When the inner labia in girls sticks together, often causing urinary symptoms. Usually treated with special creams, but sometimes require a minor procedure.
Undescended Testis
When one of both testicles have not moved into the scrotum by birth. If they remain undescended after 6 months of age, surgery is often recommended to protect fertility and reduce cancer risk.
Circumcision & revisions
We perform circumcisions and treat related issues such as adhesions, excess skin, or infection. Revision surgery is available when necessary.

Foreign body ingestions
Children sometimes swallow small objects like coins and batteries. We ensure safe and prompt retrieval of swallowed objects using endoscopy or surgery when needed.
Constipation or Soiling
Chronic constipation and accidents can affect a child's comfort and growth. We identify underlying causes and provide tailored solutions, including pelvic floor training.
